How wonderful would it be if you could complete all your holiday shopping down to ordering your holiday ham without leaving your own small town? On Sunday, December 8th the community of Westmoreland will be able to do just that at Home For The Holidays, a local holiday shopping event showcasing the talents and gifts of our citizens.
Fourteen Westmoreland businesses and community groups will gather together and the Town Hall will transform into a mini buy local shopping mall brimming full of the offerings of local Westmoreland businesses and community groups. There’s no easier way to Shift Your Shopping and build a better community than to support the livelihoods of your friends and neighbors.
So join us, December 8th from 11-4 at the Westmoreland Town Hall. Downstairs local vendors will include Of Moose & Mountain, The Westmoreland Historical Society, Edgefield Farm, The Westmoreland Lions Club, Exeter Slate, Long Ridge Farm, Jayelay Jewelers, Moe’s Chocolates & Mary Meyer’s Kitchen, Joan’s Personal Chef Service, MB Massage Studio, The Westmoreland Ladies Aid and The Westmoreland Village Eatery. Upstairs kids will be able to go say hello to Santa and get their photographs taken with him by Medora Hebert Photographer.
From now through December 24th when you purchase a massage gift certificate your gift will multiply! 10% of the purchase price will be donated to a charity, non profit or school of YOUR CHOICE! You can share some holiday love with the groups who are special to you!

Do you ever look over at your co-worker and think they look like a ZOMBIE? Their shoulders are shrugged, arms out in front of them typing away, their head is leaning forward and they look like they’re in pain?
BEWARE! They may be turning into an office ZOMBIE! Save them while there is still time. Save them before they get stuck in that position FOREVER!
Send them to MB Massage Studio and we’ll work the kinks out!
If you sit in front of your computer or car all day you likely could have tight SCMs (Sternocleidomastoids). I talk to many of my clients, who due to their work their shoulders come forward followed by the head. If you need to stretch your SCM, view this video and try this.
This year PLAID is the new BLACK!
I recently joined Monadnock Buy Local and am excited to be participating in our regions Plaid Friday. I encourage us all to think Plaid this holiday season and Shift Your Shopping by choosing local retailers, businesses, crafters and service providers. More of your money stays in our communities when we do!
This Plaid Friday, the day after Thanksgiving come see me at The Toadstool Bookstore in the Colony Mill, Keene. I’ll be offering chair massage and will have gift certificates available and who doesn’t love the gift of massage!
My chair massage services for this day are “Pay as you wish” and 50% of the proceeds from the chair massages will be going to the Keene Community Kitchen to help them continue to provide their important services.
