Day after Thanksgiving Special

Hello Friends!

This holiday season I’m joining up with the many businesses of Monadnock Buy Local to celebrate Plaid Friday! I’m offering a ONE DAY special on massage gift cards.  Give your friends & family a gift you love and a gift they won’t return — MASSAGE!

When you purchase a one hour massage gift certificate for someone on your holiday list you get a $25.00 credit for your massage in January.  Meaning, a gift for them is a gift for you!  Come in the day after Thanksgiving for my Plaid Friday Special from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

For this very special day I’m also going to be carrying some wonderful pieces by Monadnock Buy Local member, Jayelay Jewelers.  Jayelay creates beautiful hand forged pieces that those on your holiday list will love!

So after you’ve stuffed yourself full of turkey, gravy and pumpkin pie put on your PLAID SHIRT and support your locally owned businesses!  Want to learn more about Monadnock Buy Local?  Visit their site and follow along. On Plaid Friday there will be raffles from participating businesses.

And why plaid you ask? Jen Risley of Monadnock Buy Local explains in the recent Monadnock Shopper article:

“Where does the plaid come in?  We ask citizens to dress in plaid on November 23rd to make their support for locally-owned businesses and community visible, reinforcing their own commitment while giving others a reminder to think local first.  Wearing plaid, a fabric with unique colors woven together into a larger pattern, represents the many diverse independent businesses and organizations that together form the tapestry of a strong local economy.”

Holiday Open House

Join myself and Sherri Morey of Mary Kay for our joint holiday open house!  We’ll have gift certificates and product available for your holiday shopping needs and will be offering FREE treatments and goodies! So enjoy a gift for yourself while you purchase a gift for those on your list!

Chair Massage on PLAID Friday!

This year PLAID is the new BLACK!

I recently joined Monadnock Buy Local and am excited to be participating in our regions Plaid Friday.  I encourage us all to think Plaid this holiday season and Shift Your Shopping by choosing local retailers, businesses, crafters and service providers.  More of your money stays in our communities when we do!

This Plaid Friday, the day after Thanksgiving come see me at The Toadstool Bookstore in the Colony Mill, Keene.  I’ll be offering chair massage and will have gift certificates available and who doesn’t love the gift of massage!

My chair massage services for this day are “Pay as you wish” and 50% of the proceeds from the chair massages will be going to the Keene Community Kitchen to help them continue to provide their important services.

So grab your plaid shirts, scarfs, hats or pants, register to win one of the wonderful raffle prizes, and we’ll see you this Friday at The Toadstool in Keene, one of our Plaid Friday hubs!
